How commissioning works
A short guide for first-time buyers — read this before you submit a request.
-
1. Pick a pricing tier
Browse the homepage pricing cards and choose the option that fits your project. Each tier lists what's included (for example characters, color, and revisions). If you're unsure, pick the closest match and explain what you need in your request.
-
2. Create an account (or sign in)
Commission requests are tied to your account so you can track progress and reply in one place. Guests are asked to register or log in before the request form opens.
-
3. Submit a clear request
Describe what you want, add an optional budget, share reference links, and attach a sketch or reference image if you have one. Clear details help review go faster and reduce back-and-forth later.
-
4. Wait for review
When commissions are open, new requests start as Pending. When the shop is full, requests still go through as Waitlist instead of being blocked. You'll get updates through your ticket (and email when replies are sent).
-
5. Acceptance, payment & progress
If accepted, the ticket moves to In Progress. Payment details and deposits are confirmed in the ticket conversation — work typically begins after the agreed payment is received. You can follow sketches and progress photos in your ticket and leave feedback there.
-
6. Review & completion
When the piece is ready for feedback, status may move to Under Review, then Completed when finished. Reasonable revisions stay within your tier and original brief. Legal details (refunds, usage rights, and cancellations) are in Privacy & Terms.
FAQ
Do I need an account?
Yes. Requests are saved to your account so you can message staff, see status changes, and keep references in one ticket.
What if commissions look closed or full?
You can still submit. Your request is marked Waitlist and reviewed when a slot opens. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee acceptance or a specific start date. The homepage status banner (and optional queue hint) shows whether the shop is open and typical timing.
What should I include in my request?
A short title, a clear description (character details, pose, mood, background), any must-have notes, and references. Optional budget and an attached sketch help a lot. If you have a hard deadline, say so up front.
How long does it take?
Turnaround depends on queue and complexity. Tier estimates and the homepage “typical start” note are guidelines, not guarantees. Timing also depends on how quickly you reply with feedback.
How does payment work?
Payment is arranged through your ticket after review — this site does not charge your card automatically. Expect deposit / milestone details in the conversation before serious work begins. See Payment & refunds for the general policy.
Can I change or cancel after submitting?
While your request is still awaiting a decision, you can update details or cancel from your ticket. After work has started, refunds or fees depend on progress — details are in the terms.
Where do I talk to the artist?
Use the ticket conversation. Keeping chat and files in the ticket keeps the brief, progress photos, and decisions in one place.
Ready to start?
Pick a tier on the homepage, then submit a request. If you're new here, create an account first — you'll return to the request form after signing up.

Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to commission requests submitted through this site. By creating an account or placing a request, you agree to the following.
Waitlist
When commissions are not accepting new work right away, you can still submit a request. Those requests are placed on a Waitlist status instead of being rejected. Waitlist requests are saved in your account and reviewed by staff when a slot opens. Being on the waitlist does not guarantee acceptance or a specific start date. You may update details or cancel your waitlist request from your ticket until it is accepted or closed. When commissions are open, new requests start as Pending for normal review.
Scope of work
Each commission covers the tier and description agreed in your ticket. Extra characters, complex backgrounds, rush delivery, or major scope changes may require an updated quote before work continues.
Turnaround
Estimated turnaround times shown on pricing tiers are guidelines, not guaranteed deadlines. Timing depends on queue, complexity, and how quickly feedback is provided. If a hard deadline matters, note it in your request so it can be confirmed before work starts.
Revisions
Reasonable revisions are included as described for your tier (or as agreed in the ticket). Revisions should stay within the original brief. Large redesigns, new concepts, or changes after final approval may be treated as additional paid work.
Payment & refunds
Payment details and milestones are confirmed through your ticket conversation. Work typically begins after the agreed deposit or payment is received. Refunds are handled case by case: unused deposits may be refundable before work starts; once significant work has begun, refunds may be partial or unavailable depending on progress. Chargebacks without first contacting staff may result in account restrictions.
Usage rights
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you receive a personal-use license for the finished artwork (for example profile pictures, personal posts, and non-commercial sharing with credit appreciated). Commercial use, merchandise, NFTs, or AI training/datasets require a separate agreement. The artist retains copyright and may display the work in portfolios or promotional materials unless you request otherwise before completion.
References & conduct
Provide clear references and accurate descriptions. Requests involving stolen designs, hate content, or illegal material will be declined. Communication stays in your ticket so progress and decisions remain documented.
Cancellations
Either party may cancel before work begins. If work is already in progress, any refund or fee depends on how much has been completed. Repeated no-shows or ignored revision requests may lead to the ticket being closed.
